Very cool exhibition of modern poster design at the Kemistry Gallery in London on at the moment. It features work by Homework, a Warsaw-based design studio that makes posters for cultural events.
One day, while trawling through one of the epic Heritage movie poster auctions I came a cross a Polish poster for the film Dumbo which stole my heart and was so different from the original poster by Disney. Since then I have been fascinated by Polish film posters and how different they are from the western originals for various reasons best described in this article.
